The Minister, in deciding whether or not to agree to a person imprisoned in a participating State serving imprisonment in that participating State in pursuance of a request made under the provision of an interstate law that corresponds to section 21(1)(a) of the Act, may ask the Commissioner of Police, as far as is known, whether every complaint or information alleging any offence by the person against the law of Tasmania or the Commonwealth has been finally dealt with according to the law.
