Proclamation under the Water Act 1957

I, the Governor in and over the State of Tasmania and its Dependencies in the Commonwealth of Australia, acting with the advice of the Executive Council and on the report of the Rivers and Water Supply Commission, by this my proclamation made under section 120 of the Water Act 1957  –

(a) declare the area of land specified in Schedule 1 to this proclamation to be a drainage area under the name "Davy Point Drainage Area" ; and
(b) direct that the area be administered by a board of 3 trustees; and
(c) revoke the proclamation notified in the Gazette as Statutory Rules 1985, No. 100; and
(d) declare that this proclamation takes effect on the day on which its making is notified in the Gazette.

All that area of land shown bounded by heavy black lines on Plan No. 4213 in the Central Plan Register, a copy of which is set out, by way of illustration only, in Schedule 2 to this proclamation.

This proclamation –
(a) establishes the Davy Point Drainage Area; and
(b) directs that the area be administered by a board of 3 trustees; and
(c) revokes a proclamation.
