Rule 17(1) of the Principal Rules is amended as follows:

(a) by inserting "quad bike," after "riding a motor bike," ;

(b) by omitting from note 1 " Bicycle and motor bike " and substituting " Bicycle , motor bike and quad bike " ;

(c) by omitting from note 2 "bike" and substituting "bike, quad bike" ;

(d) by inserting the following note after note 2 :

Note 3 Subrule (1) has been amended to include quad bikes and is no longer uniform with the model road rules of Australia.
