(1) For the purposes of these regulations, the employer component of a benefit to be paid by the Minister or a prescribed authority is, subject to subregulation (2) , five-sevenths.(2) The Minister may, on advice from the Actuary and by notice published in the Gazette , determine that the employer component of a benefit to be paid by the Minister or a prescribed authority is to be such proportion as is specified in the notice.(3) A notice under this regulation (a) may have effect in respect of a class of benefits specified in the notice; and(b) may have effect as from a date specified in the notice; and(c) is not a statutory rule for the purposes of the Rules Publication Act 1953 .
