Regulation 2(1) of the Principal Regulations is amended by inserting after the definition of "carriageway" the following definitions:

child restraining device means a child restraining device as defined in Division 7 of Part VIII of the Traffic (Miscellaneous) Regulations 1968 ;

child restraint anchorage means an anchorage designed specifically for anchoring a child restraining device to a motor vehicle;
