An authorised meter adjuster is to test a taximeter to verify that the taximeter is –

(a) operating with a margin of error no greater than 1.5%; and

(b) correctly –

(i) measuring elapsed time and distance travelled; and

(ii) calculating and displaying the relevant fares.
