TASMANIAN MUSEUM BY-LAWS 2001 (S.R. 2001, NO. 188) - REG 8

Removal of persons
(1)  An authorised person may exclude or eject any person from the Museum property if satisfied on reasonable grounds that the person –
(a) appears to be under the influence of alcohol or drugs; or
(b) is acting in a manner that may offend, annoy, disturb or injure an authorised person or any other person; or
(c) is acting in a manner that may cause damage or is causing damage to the Museum property; or
(d) is obstructing an authorised person in the exercise of any power under these by-laws; or
(e) has committed or is committing an offence under these by-laws.
(2)  A person who is excluded or ejected must not –
(a) refuse to leave the Museum property; or
(b) fail to leave the Museum property; or
(c) re-enter the Museum property within 24 hours.
Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 20 penalty units.
