An operator of a public weighbridge must not –

(a) fail to comply with a requirement of Schedule 1 when the weighbridge is in use for public weighing; or

(b) alter the original of a measurement ticket after a copy of it has been issued; or

(c) issue a measurement ticket that is not a correct copy of the original; or

(d) remove from a book, or issue, the original of a measurement ticket; or

(e) remove, or permit to be removed, from a book an unused or cancelled measurement ticket; or

(f) use the weighbridge for public weighing when he or she knows, or has reason to believe, that the weighbridge is incorrect.

Penalty:  Fine not exceeding 20 penalty units.
