EXPLANATORY NOTE

(This note is not part of the notice)

This notice –

(a) exempts certain drivers of commercial buses and heavy trucks from some driving time and work time restrictions contained in the Vehicle and Traffic (Vehicle Operations) Regulations 2001 ; and

(b) exempts certain drivers of heavy trucks from a rest time requirement contained in those regulations.
