A person must not use, or cause or permit the use of –

(a) a vehicle, other than a livestock carrier or double-deck bus or a vehicle carrying vehicles on more than one deck, that exceeds 4.3 metres in height; or

(b) a livestock carrier that exceeds 4.6 metres in height; or

(c) a double-deck bus that exceeds 4.4 metres in height; or

(d) a vehicle carrying vehicles on more than one deck that exceeds 4.6 metres in height.

Penalty:  In the case of –

(a) a first offence – 20 penalty units; and

(b) a second or subsequent offence – 40 penalty units.
