(1)  A person must not use, or cause or permit the use of, a vehicle or combination that is overmass.

Penalty:  In the case of –

(a) a first offence – 20 penalty units; and

(b) a second or subsequent offence – 40 penalty units.

(2)  A vehicle or combination is overmass if it exceeds any applicable limit prescribed in –

(a) this Subdivision; or

(b) Schedule 1 .
