EXPLANATORY NOTE
(This note is not part of the regulation)
These regulations replace the Veterinary Surgeons Regulations 1988 ; they prescribe –(a) the services that are excluded from the definition of "veterinary services" ; and(b) the persons who are exempt from the requirement to register as a veterinary surgeon; and(c) the details that are required to be entered into the register; and(d) the specialities relevant for the purpose of a person's entitlement to registration as a veterinary specialist; and(e) the details and documents required in connection with applications for registration; and(f) the fees payable for applications and registrations.
