(1) A person conducting a business or undertaking at a workplace must ensure, so far as is reasonably practicable, that a lead process area at the workplace is kept clean.Penalty: In the case of (a) an individual, a fine not exceeding $6 000; or(b) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding $30 000.(2) The person must ensure that the methods used to clean a lead process area (a) do not create a risk to the health of persons in the immediate vicinity of the area; and(b) do not have the potential to spread the contamination of lead.Penalty: In the case of (a) an individual, a fine not exceeding $6 000; or(b) a body corporate, a fine not exceeding $30 000.
