A Bill for an Act to adopt a Canon of the General Synod
the Anglican Church of Australia

‘Canon concerning Holy Orders 2004’
Adoption Act 2009

BE IT ENACTED by the Bishop, the Clergy and the Laity of the Anglican Church of Australia within the Diocese of Ballarat in Victoria duly met in Synod according to law as follows:

Short title

1. This Act may be cited as the Canon concerning Holy Orders Adoption Act 2009.
   

Commencement

2. This Act comes into operation on the date on which it receives the assent of the Bishop.
   

Adoption of Canon concerning Holy Orders Canon 2004

3. The Synod of the Diocese adopts the Canon concerning Holy Orders 2004 of General Synod, a copy of which is set out in the Schedule of this Act.
