SYNOD ACT AMENDMENT ACT 1998 (BALLARAT DIOCESE)

SYNOD ACT AMENDMENT ACT 1998

Be it enacted by the Bishop the Clergy and the Laity of the Anglican Church of Australia in the Diocese of Ballarat duly met in Synod according to law as follows:

1. This Act may be cited as the Synod Act Amendment Act 1998.

2. The Synod Act 1988 (‘the principal Act’) as amended by this Act may be cited as the Synod Act 1988-1998.

3. In Section 5 of the principal Act, the words ‘Section 46’ are deleted and in their place the words ‘Section 48’ are inserted.
