WANGARATTA DIOCESAN TRUST REGISTRATION OF CORPORATE NAME (WANGARATTA DIOCESE)

Extract from Victorian Government Gazette of 7th November 1903 at page 3620

Corporate Trusts Act 1884. - 18 Vict, No. 707.

It is hereby notified that a certified copy of a resolution which was passed by the Church Assembly of the Diocese of Wangaratta on the 18th day of August, 1903, nominating The Bishop of Wangaratta, ex officio; The Chancellor of the Diocese of Wangaratta, ex officio; The Registrar of the Diocese of Wangaratta, ex officio; The Venerable Frederick William Willcox and Frederick Charles Purbrick, Esquire, trustees for the purpose of holding property in trust for the benefit of the Church within the Diocese of Wangaratta, has been this day registered by me, and such trustees are therefore incorporated under the name of "The Church of England Trusts Corporation for the Diocese of Wangaratta."

Anglican Church of Australia Act 1985 (No. 10194)

It is hereby notified for general information that the Registrar-General has, under the provisions of section 4A(2) of the abovementioned Act registered a resolution of the Wangaratta Diocesan Synod changing the name of the corporate body of trustees from "The Church of England Trusts Corporation for the Diocese of Wangaratta" to "The Wangaratta Diocesan Trustees".
