Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) This section applies if the Authority is satisfied that a registered building practitioner is incapable of practising as a building practitioner because of physical or mental infirmity.
(2) The Authority may decide to—
(a) suspend the person's registration for not more than 3 years; or
(b) cancel the person's registration.
(3) A decision under subsection (2)(a) may be made more than once.
(4) Subdivision 5 and Division 4 apply to a proposed decision under this section as if—
(a) the circumstances in subsection (1) were a ground for disciplinary action; and
(b) the decision were a disciplinary action.
