BIRTHS, DEATHS AND MARRIAGES REGISTRATION ACT 1996 - SECT 58
Power to require and take statutory declarations
The Registrar—
(a) may require that information be
given by statutory declaration; and
(b) is authorised to take any
statutory declarations required for the purposes of this Act.
