CORRECTIONS ACT 1986 - SECT 55K

The functions of a security officer are—

        (a)     to provide security at premises where—

              (i)     the Board meets; or

              (ii)     employees of the Department who are assisting the Board under  section 70(1) to perform its functions are located; and

        (b)     if required, to assist a police officer in the performance of the police officer's duties at premises where the Board meets; and

        (c)     the functions referred to in section 319 of the Serious Offenders Act 2018 .
