CLIMATE CHANGE ACT 2017 - SECT 28

Principle of compatibility

It is a guiding principle of this Act that a decision, policy, program or process to address issues relating to climate change should—

        (a)     seek to promote a coherent policy framework within the State; and

        (b)     seek to achieve cohesion the policies, programs, initiatives, standards or commitments relating to climate change
of—

              (i)     other States or Territories; and

              (ii)     the government of the Commonwealth; and

              (iii)     governments of other countries; and

              (iv)     international bodies and organisations.
