COUNTRY FIRE AUTHORITY ACT 1958 - SECT 97A

Authority may provide rescue and extrication services

The Authority may provide a rescue and extrication service for any person or property endangered as the result of an accident or explosion (other than a road accident) which does not involve the risk or existence of a fire by the use of brigades which have been specifically approved for that purpose by the Minister under the Emergency Management Act 1986 or the Emergency Management Act 2013 .
