Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) If a person who is appointed to the office of Chief Executive Officer or Court Chief Executive Officer was employed under Part 3 of the Public Administration Act 2004 immediately before that appointment, the person's term of office as the Chief Executive Officer or as a Court Chief Executive Officer (as the case may be) is taken to be service under Part 3 of that Act for the purposes of any benefits and entitlements that would accrue because of that service.
(2) If a person who is appointed to the office of Chief Executive Officer or Court Chief Executive Officer was an officer within the meaning of the State Superannuation Act 1988 immediately before that appointment, the person continues to be such an officer during his or her term of office as the Chief Executive Officer or as a Court Chief Executive Officer (as the case may be).
