CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES ACT 2005 - SECT 107

Notice of Panel's findings and determinations

S. 107(1) amended by No. 4/2017 s. 13(3).

    (1)     The Suitability Panel must notify the Secretary and the Commission for Children and Young People without delay of its findings and determinations under sections 105 and 106 in respect of an allegation and may provide reasons for the findings and determinations.

    (2)     The Suitability Panel must notify the following persons without delay if it finds under section 106 that a person should be disqualified and may provide reasons for the finding—

S. 107(2)(a) amended by No. 34/2020 s. 180.

        (a)     the Secretary within the meaning of the Worker Screening Act 2020 ;

        (b)     the Chairperson of the Victorian Institute of Teaching established under Part 2.6 of the Education and   Training Reform Act 2006 .

    (3)     The Suitability Panel must give the person about whom the allegation was made written notice of its findings and determinations under sections 105 and 106 in respect of the allegation and reasons, if   any, within 14 days after the findings and determinations are made.
