CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES ACT 2005 - SECT 204

    (1)     The Minister may—

        (a)     issue directions to be followed by protective interveners in the exercise of their functions; or

        (b)     amend, in whole or in part, any directions issued under paragraph (a).

    (2)     The Minister must consult with the Minister administering the Victoria Police Act 2013 before issuing directions relating to protective interveners who are police officers.

    (3)     The Minister must cause any directions issued and any amendments made under subsection (1) to be published in the Government Gazette.
