CHILDREN, YOUTH AND FAMILIES ACT 2005 - SECT 424

Right of appeal

A person convicted of an offence by the Children's Court in a summary proceeding in the Criminal Division may appeal to the County Court or, if the Children's Court was constituted by the President, to the Trial Division of the Supreme Court, or if constituted by the Chief Magistrate who is a dual commission holder, to the Court of Appeal, against—

        (a)     the conviction and sentence imposed by the Children's Court; or

        (b)     sentence alone.
