DISABILITY ACT 2006 - SECT 204

    (1)     The Secretary may, by instrument, delegate to any officer or employee of the Department any power, duty or function of the Secretary under this Act (other than this power of delegation) or under regulations made under this Act.

    (2)     The Secretary may, by instrument, delegate to any officer or employee of the Department any power, duty or function of the Secretary under any other Act or under regulations made under any other Act that relates to or affects persons with a disability, NDIS participants or DSOA clients.

    (3)     Without limiting this section, the Secretary may make a delegation under this section to—

        (a)     the Regulator within the meaning of the Social Services Regulation Act 2021 ; or

        (b)     a person employed or engaged by that Regulator.
