Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) The regulations may provide for the payment of compensation to a person who suffers detriment as a result of complying with a direction under section 17, or as a result of another person complying, or failing to comply, with such a direction.
(2) Regulations for the purposes of subsection (1) may provide—
(a) the circumstances in which compensation may be payable;
(b) the method of calculating compensation;
(c) the person or persons liable to pay the compensation.
