FIREARMS ACT 1996 - SECT 110

A permit to acquire continues in force from the time it is issued—

        (a)     for a period of 28 days; or

        (b)     until the firearm to which it relates is acquired; or

        (c)     if the permit is cancelled, until it is cancelled—

whichever occurs first.
