Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) In accordance with subsection (2), a firearm prohibition order may be served on an individual to whom it applies and who is in detention if a police officer has asked to visit the person to serve the order and the visit has been refused by—
(a) the individual; or
(b) the place at which the individual is in detention.
(2) For the purposes of subsection (1), the order may be served by sending a copy of the order by registered post addressed to the individual at the place at which the individual is in detention.
