FINES REFORM ACT 2014 - SECT 24

Content of notice of final demand

    (1)     A notice of final demand must be in writing and state—

        (a)     that enforcement action may be taken if the person against whom the notice of final demand has been served defaults for a period of more than 21 days—

              (i)     in the payment of a registered fine or a registered collection and enforcement order; or

              (ii)     in the payment of an instalment under a payment arrangement or an instalment order; and

        (b)     a summary of enforcement action available under this Act; and

        (c)     a summary of the options available to the person under this Act; and

        (d)     any other prescribed details.

    (2)     A notice of final demand may include or attach a statement of any other registered fines or registered collection and enforcement orders outstanding against the person.

    (3)     A failure to include or attach the statement specified in subsection (2), or complete details of any other outstanding registered fines or registered collection and enforcement orders in that statement, does not invalidate the notice.
