(1) This Part applies if a notice of final demand has been issued for—
(a) an infringement offence, whether or not the infringement offence involves a vehicle; or
(b) an offence for which a court fine was imposed, whether or not the offence involves a vehicle; or
(c) an infringement offence or an offence in respect of which a registered collection and enforcement order was made, whether or not the infringement offence or the offence involves a vehicle.

(2) The Director may take action under this Part in addition to any other action under this Act.
(3) Nothing in this Part prevents the Director making more than one direction under this Part or more than one type of direction under this Part in respect of any person or any vehicle.

(4) Without limiting any other power under this Part, the Director may make one direction under this Part in respect of multiple registered fines or registered collection and enforcement orders.
