Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) If a person is required under this Act to serve a document and it has not been possible to serve the document, the person must file with the court a certificate about why it has not been possible to serve the document.
(2) The certificate must—
(a) include the prescribed information; and
(b) be accompanied by the prescribed documents.
(3) A certificate under this section is admissible in evidence and, in the absence of evidence to the contrary, is proof of the matters stated in it.
