Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) A person who attempts to commit an offence against this Act is guilty of the offence of attempting to commit that offence and is liable to the same penalty as is provided by this Act for committing the offence attempted.
(2) Sections 321N and 321Q of the Crimes Act 1958 apply to and in respect of an offence against subsection (1) to the same extent as they apply to and in respect of offences against section 321M of that Act.

This section is not required in the Commonwealth Act.
