Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) The Registrar, with the approval of the Minister and the Treasurer, may provide an indemnity in favour of any person appointed to the governing body of a registered agency under section 131 or 132 against any claim or proceeding arising against them for anything done in good faith in the performance of their duties as a member of the governing body.
(2) An indemnity provided by the Registrar under subsection (1) is subject to any terms and conditions that the Registrar thinks appropriate.
(3) Any amounts that from time to time become due and payable under an indemnity authorised by this section shall be paid out of the Consolidated Fund (which is hereby to the necessary extent appropriated accordingly).
