Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) If the Secretary decides to suspend an honorary justice from the office of justice of the peace or bail justice, the Secretary must give written notice of the suspension to the honorary justice specifying—
(a) the grounds of suspension; and
(b) the date on which the suspension is to take effect.
(2) In the case of a proposed suspension under section 27, the date specified in the notice as the date on which the suspension is to take effect must be at least 21 days after the date of the notice.
