INTERPRETATION OF LEGISLATION ACT 1984 - SECT 37

Gender and number

In an Act or subordinate instrument, unless the contrary intention appears—

S. 37(a) substituted by No. 95/1993 s. 7.

        (a)     words importing a gender include every other gender; and

S. 37(b) repealed by No. 95/1993 s. 7.

        (c)     words in the singular include the plural; and

        (d)     words in the plural include the singular.
