Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) An Australian lawyer representing a person at a hearing before an investigating panel or assisting an investigating panel at a hearing has the same protection and immunity as an Australian legal practitioner has in representing a party in a proceeding in the Supreme Court.
(2) A person appearing as a witness at a hearing before an investigating panel has the same protection and immunity as a witness has in a proceeding in the Supreme Court.
