JURISDICTION OF COURTS (CROSS-VESTING) ACT 1987 - SECT 17

    (1)     It is the intention of this section to alter or vary section 85 of the Constitution Act 1975 to the extent necessary to require matters for determination in a proceeding pending in the Supreme Court to be transferred to the Federal Court or another court in accordance with section 6.

    (2)     It is the intention of section 6 as amended by the Federal Courts (Consequential Amendments) Act 2000 to alter or vary section 85 of the Constitution Act 1975 .
