LIQUOR CONTROL REFORM ACT 1998 - SECT 83

Objection by Chief Commissioner

    (1)     The Chief Commissioner may object to the grant of an application under section 80 or 81 on the ground that the applicant or agent is not a suitable person to carry on business under the licence or BYO permit.

    (2)     An objection must—

S. 83(2)(a) amended by No. 58/2011 s. 104(Sch. item 4.133).

        (a)     be made to the Commission in writing within 21 days after the day on which a copy of the application was given to the Chief Commissioner under section 82(2); and

        (b)     state the reasons for the objection.
