The Minister, by written notice, may require a Councillor Conduct Panel to stop the consideration of a matter if—
(a) the Minister receives a notice referred to in section 181D(3) or 220A(4); and
(b) the notice indicates that the Councillor Conduct Panel is considering the matter; and
(c) the Minister intends to recommend the suspension of a Councillor under section 229A; and
(d) the Councillor is the subject of the application for which the Councillor Conduct Panel was formed.
