Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) The holder of a licence may make an application for renewal of the licence during the prescribed period before or after the expiry date of the licence.
(2) An application for renewal of a licence must—
(a) include the prescribed information; and
(b) be accompanied by the prescribed application fee (if any).
(3) If an application is made for the renewal of a licence before the expiry date, the licence is taken to remain in force until—
(a) the licence is renewed; or
(b) the application is withdrawn; or
(c) the application for renewal is refused.
(4) If an application is made for the renewal of a licence after the expiry date, the licence is taken, despite the expiry of the licence, to have been in force from the expiry date and to remain in force until—
(a) the licence is renewed; or
(b) the application is withdrawn; or
(c) the application for renewal is refused.
