(1) The Commissioner, an Acting Commissioner or another person who performs a function of the Authority under this Act or under any other Act is not personally liable for anything necessarily or reasonably done or omitted to be done in good faith—
(a) in the performance of the function; or
(b) in the reasonable belief that the act or omission was in the performance of the function.
(2) Any liability resulting from an act or omission that, but for subsection (1), would attach to the Commissioner, Acting Commissioner or another person attaches instead to the Authority.
