MARINE SAFETY ACT 2010 - SECT 250

Safe Transport Victoria, by notice published in the Government Gazette, may declare a part of State waters as waters in which a licensed pilot is required to be engaged.

In making a declaration under this section Safe Transport Victoria must have regard to guidelines made by the Minister under section 31A of the Transport Integration Act 2010 : see section 258(2).
