(1) An employee is not entitled to any compensation as a result of—
(a) the termination of his or her employment; or
(b) his or her remuneration being reduced.
(2) Subsection (1) is subject to any relevant—
(a) award or agreement under, or continued in force by, a law of the Commonwealth;
(b) contract of employment;
