Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) If a proceeding in relation to the property of one or both of the domestic partners is commenced in the Family Court at any time before a court has made a final order to adjust interests with respect to the property of one or both of the partners, the court may adjourn its hearing.
(2) If the hearing of the application has been adjourned, the applicant for the order may apply to the court for the hearing to proceed if the proceeding in the Family Court is delayed.
(3) Nothing in this section limits the power of the court to grant or refuse an adjournment in relation to any proceeding before it.
