Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current ActsIf a proceeding instituted under this Part by or in relation to a person is pending in a court and it appears to the court that another proceeding instituted under this Part by or in relation to the same person is pending in another court having jurisdiction under this Part, the first-mentioned court may—
(a) stay the proceeding pending before it for any period it thinks fit; or
(b) dismiss the proceeding.
