Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) The amendment to the definition of relevant offence in section 84C(1) made by section 90 of the Justice Legislation Amendment (Police and Other Matters) Act 2019 applies only to offences alleged to have been committed on or after the commencement of that section of that Act.
(2) For the purposes of subsection (1), if an offence is alleged to have been committed between 2 dates, one before and one after the commencement of section 90 of the Justice Legislation Amendment (Police and Other Matters) Act 2019 , the offence is alleged to have been committed before that commencement.
