ROAD SAFETY ACT 1986 - SECT 85J

S. 85J(1) amended by No. 18/2022 s. 10.

    (1)     A suspension of a driver licence or learner permit under section 85I or 85IA remains in force until—

        (a)     the charge is determined; or

        (b)     the charge is withdrawn; or

        (c)     the suspension is cancelled on appeal.

    (2)     The period determined under subsection (1) applies irrespective of whether or not the person charged is in custody.
