SENTENCING ACT 1991 - SECT 112A
Maximum fine for indictable offence heard and determined summarily
(1) If a person is found guilty by the
Magistrates' Court in a summary hearing of an indictable offence, the maximum
fine that the Court may impose on the person is 500 penalty units.
(2) Subsection (1) is subject to any contrary
intention in any Act other than this Act.
