Victorian Current Acts Victorian Current Acts(1) If the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages is notified that a corresponding surrogacy parentage order has been discharged, the Registrar, as soon as practicable, must notify the Attorney-General and the Secretary of the Department of Justice in writing of that fact.
(2) A failure of the Registrar of Births, Deaths and Marriages to notify a person under subsection (1) does not prevent an application being made under section 29G.
